Between God and Us

I asked for strength,
And Allah gave me me difficulties to make me strong
I asked for wisdom,
And Allah gave me problems to solve.
I asked for courage,
And Allah gave me obstacles o overcome.
I asked for love,
And Allah gave me troubled people to help.
I asked for favors,
And Allah gave me opportunities.
Maybe I received nothing that I wanted,
But I received everything that I needed.

Experiences, good and bad, always led me,and everyone, to gain, at least, an understanding and awareness to a TRUTH. God’s TRUTH. Nothing happens fruitless. There must be meanings behind everything happened. “What doesn’t kill you,will make you stronger”. We are learning, from books, parents, lecturers, nature, friends, books, and other people’s experiences. Experience is the best teacher isn’t a cliche saying anymore. It works as it is. One couldn’t swim just by reading books about swimming. But he should fight his fear to enter the water, sink into the water, and swim. One couldn’t excerpt the essence of his/her own life just by reading books about life,watching motivation program, taking lecturers. A real University of Life is out there,beyond the books, our training, our lecturers at campus. The University of Life provides us problems to solve, obstacle to overcome, oportunities to grab, a variousity of feelings, a rollercoaster of emotions to make us stronger, wiser, better, firmer. That was what God intend everything to happen..
God and us, that’s all. Ikhtiar and prayer, the perfect formula for earning values in this artificial life. Never stops unless we can still do it. And let God does the rest. Because he knows everything we needed upon everything we wanted.
